Death Summary: Timothy John Russert collapsed apparently due to a heart attack while recording voice overs for his show Meet the Press at an NBC News studio in Washington D.C.
Paramedics were called and attempted to defibrillate Russert's heart three times to no success. He was then taken to Sibley Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.
His last words were "What's Happening" - a greeting for his next episode of Meet the Press.
