He will be interred at Donskoy Monastery in Moscow.

Who was Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn: Solzhenitsyn was a Russian novelist who introduced the world to Gulag, the Soviet labor camp system. For his efforts he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1970.

For his writings Solzhenitsyn was exiled from the Soviet Union in 1974. He didn't return until 1994, twenty years after he was initally exiled. The same year he was elected to the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in the Department of Language and Literature.
