Death Summary: Snow died at Georgetown University Hospital from colon cancer which had spread to his liver. He was 53 years old.

Who was Tony Snow: Born Robert Anthony Snow, Tony Snow worked as a White House Press Secretary for the George W. Bush administration.

He had often filled in as a guest house on the conservative talk radio program The Rush Limbaugh Show. He also guest hosted the O'reilly Factor on Fox News. Not long before his death, he had joined CNN.

In the early years of his career, Tony worked for newspapers like The Greensboro Record, The Virginian-Pilot, The Daily Press, The Detroit News, The Washington Times, and USA Today. He won various awards for his print work, and eventually made the leap into radio and television.

He went on to appear on The McLaughlin Group, The MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour, Face the Nation, Crossfire, and Good Morning Amercia.

In '91, Snow began working in the White House for the first Bush, beginning as a speechwriter and progressing to Deputy Assistant to the President for Media Affairs until '93.
